A better description is 環湖步道. This is due to the fact that part of the trail was close due to the impact of the Typhoon. I encounter the same situation on 拉拉山.

I forgot the name of the typhoon. But I remembered the impact clearly as I was in Taipei when the typhoon hit Taiwan. I ended up changing my traveling plan because of it.
